Traditions surrounding food at Roma Foods have been practiced since its opening and have been passed down for generations. Family owned and operated, Roma’s has loyal employees who use personal experience and knowledge of specialty Italian foods and traditions to help over 300 customers daily. Food at Roma’s connects employees to each other, to family, and to customers in the community. The definition of family at Roma’s extends not only to employees that are not relatives, but also to customers. In this way, family has taken on new meaning at Roma’s. This specialty store’s role in the community as a local and global intersection of food, connects people from Saratoga Springs, New York to Italy and beyond.
